Half Moon Bay, California mass shooting suspect identified

In one Night statementsaid the city The shooting that killed seven people. “This was a horrific incident that has shocked our community, and our hearts go out to all the individuals and families affected.”

“It’s something we would never expect here,” the city said. “We mourn the loss of those whose lives were taken by this horrific act and offer our condolences to their loved ones.”

Mayor Deborah Penrose said she was “shocked and saddened by this horrific incident, which has completely shocked our community.”

“We share their grief and know that members of our community also hold the victims and their families in their hearts,” Penrose said. “Now more than ever it’s important for the community to come together and stick together.”

Half Moon Bay is continuing to work with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office during the investigation. “The situation is unfolding, and there is much we simply do not know. In the coming days, as we learn more, we will come together to recover and take the necessary steps to ensure “The safety of the community remains a top priority,” the city said.

In an interview with CNN’s Pappy Harlow, Penrose said it was too early to know his motive and could not provide additional information about the ongoing investigation.

“We know that some of the victims were Chinese, that the perpetrator was Chinese and that it was an agricultural community – they were agricultural workers,” he said.
