“I didn’t plan on seeing him, but I dropped the kids off at school one day and came home to see him with my support system around me,” Chambers told E! News in an interview. “It was obviously heartbreaking and very painful on so many levels. But at the same time, it’s here. The past is the past and all we can do is take it as a moment to learn and listen. Take on, and hopefully act upon and heal the potential in everyone.”
Chambers revealed that he was approached to participate in the series, but declined.
“They reached out, but, in the process, what’s important and what matters is the kids and our family, and it wasn’t something that was consistent with my goals for them,” he said. was.”
In 2020, after 10 years of marriage, Chambers filed for divorce from Hammer.
The two share two children together, and Chambers says they’re in a “really great place” with their co-parents.
“We talk all the time. We are fully and completely committed to our children, and to being together as much as possible in a non-romantic way for our children,” she said. “Kids need their moms; kids need their dads. So we’re not going to do anything.”
As for Hammer, he’s “trying to be the best father, the best person.”
