Amber Heard takes the stand in Johnny Depp defamation trial

“I’m struggling to find the words to describe how painful it is,” Hurd began his testimony in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia.

Heard said Deep fell to his knees, crying and apologizing, saying, “I thought I got rid of the monster.”

It was not immediately clear what year the alleged incident took place.

Herd said she left immediately after the incident and received a text message from Depp apologizing profusely, saying “I’d rather cut my hand off than put it on you” and he understood. That she could never forgive him.

Hurd said the two were reconciled immediately after the incident, and promised to never kill him again.
